Onboarding Deposit
The Transition Package includes an onboarding deposit, ensuring a seamless start to our partnership with you. This deposit serves as a commitment to the process, allowing us to allocate resources efficiently and prioritise your success. You’ll receive your deposit back as credit once you’ve been trading for 10 consecutive days.

Sessions
Description
Kick-off call
30-minute session
Discuss your goals and retail processes. Your Implementation Specialist will create a customised onboarding plan based on your requirements.
Data Session
1-hour session
Create an onboarding roadmap and ensure product setup aligns with Lightspeed’s format. (Switching POS – Ensure product export is ready before hand).
Navigating your account
1 hour workshop
Review Settings and explore the Lightspeed setup page for admin users. Topics include user creation, payment types, receipts, setup, etc.
Inventory and stock management
1 hour 30 minutes workshop
Learn to update inventory, manage promotions, receive orders, perform inventory counts, and transfer stock between outlets.
Selling and Reporting
1 hour 30 minutes workshop
Learn to process sales, manage gift cards, handle store credits, and use Lightspeed’s loyalty program. Explore reporting tools and best practices.

What we’ll require from you
Lightspeed Payments
We’ll test and ensure your terminals are working before launch.
The payment terminals must be charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
Product setup and migration
Collaborative effort to import your products/SKUs into Lightspeed.
Products listed in XLSX or CSV format in a consolidated file.
Customer migration
Import your customer details into Lightspeed.
You’ll need to provide us with a spreadsheet of your customer data (one row per customer).
Data integrity check
Ensure data accuracy before launch and help coordinate your account’s launch.
Completion of the previous steps.
Accounting and eCommerce Integration
Description
Xero
Ensure an accountant/bookkeeper is aware of account codes. Articles and support provided.
QuickBooks
Ensure someone handles your QuickBooks account. Articles and support provided.
Lightspeed eCommerce
Guided tour of integration and support materials provided.
Shopify
Guided tour of integration and support materials provided.
BigCommerce
Guided tour of integration and support materials provided.
WooCommerce
Requires a web developer for integration. Please find our WooCommerce Developer Care Pack here.
Terms and Conditions
Start date and expiry: Onboarding services must begin within 90 days of purchase. To be eligible for the deposit to be credited back to you, your business must be trading within 90 days from the purchase date. Services are valid for 30 days following your first kick-off session.
Go-live date: Your launch date is dependent on the timely provision of all required information. Missing or delayed details may result in a postponement of your go-live date.
Refunds: Please note that onboarding services are non-refundable.
