Can I use Smart Terminal V2 the same way I used my previous terminal?
Yes. Smart Terminal V2 supports the same core checkout experience, including tap, chip, and swipe payments through Lightspeed POS.

Will my transactions still sync with Lightspeed POS?
Yes. Once your terminal is connected, transactions will continue syncing with Lightspeed POS for sales and reporting.

Does Smart Terminal V2 come with a dock?
Yes. Each Smart Terminal V2 comes with a dock to support a polished countertop setup and help keep the terminal charged throughout the day.

Do I need Ethernet to use Smart Terminal V2?
No. Most customers can connect using Wi-Fi. If your business requires Ethernet connectivity, you may need a compatible Ethernet hub.

What should I do if I use Ethernet but did not receive an Ethernet hub?
If your business uses a wired Ethernet connection and you did not receive an Ethernet hub with your Smart Terminal V2, contact Lightspeed Support for next steps.
